In case you didn't know...

Tonight after we said our bedtime prayers, Ruby whispered to me, "Thanks for saying a prayer for me today that my shots would go okay." (she was referring to the prayer we said together before going into her kindergarten doctor check-up.) And then as she drifted off to sleep, I heard her whisper her own prayer to Heavenly Father.

Ruby, I hope you always know that I do have a testimony that God hears our prayers. And the more we pray, the better we know Him.

Today, Henry did his very best (the best he's done in a long while) to mind me. It was a tender mercy and reminded me of Hank's sweet spirit that sometimes gets hidden by his frequent moments of "two"ness. This morning, he woke both Hugh and I up with a wet kiss on each of our cheeks.

Henry, I hope you know you have a loving Father in Heaven who knows you and loves you. Thanks for loving me with your wet kisses, tight hugs, and "I lub you(s)".

Today,  Tildy's warm eyes gave me peace and comfort.

Tildy, I hope you know that the greatest source of peace and comfort is our Savior Jesus Christ.

....I love these kids!
