Happy, Happy Birthday!
So excited to celebrate my mom today. It's a big birthday for her this year... so we are hoping to make it a good one. Mostly, I just hope she knows how much we love her. As you can tell from this picture, Ruby adores her "Grandma Suzi", and it is so wonderful to watch my mom be a grandma. I love this picture because you can see how my mom glows in her role as Ruby and Hank's grandma. Just like everything else in her life, my mom is a "go the extra mile" kind of grandma.
Happy Birthday, Mom! Hope it is a good one...you really deserve it. You are truly someone to be celebrated. Your example of hard-work, service, and generosity has helped me become the person I am today. And now that I am a mother, I am starting to more fully appreciate all the sacrifices you have made along the way on my behalf.
Let the celebration begin!

Thanks you guys for a fabulous birthday! It will be a special memory of mine forever. It was so much fun to hang out -- all of us together -- just talking, shopping, eating, laughing and being entertained at all times by adorable Ruby. Thank you for everything ... you really spoiled me and made my 50th birthday special!! I love you all very much.
