Bursting at the Seams

Not so young anymore...

Hugh turned 28 today! Last night we uploaded these pics from 2005, when Hugh and three of his buddies rode their bikes along the California Coast. They started just below the Oregon border and rode almost 1,000 miles to San Diego! My Hugh is not so young anymore, he was 23 years young (don't mind my use of a Craig Bolerjack line) then. Well, 28 really isn't that old...it just sounds ALOT older than 23. We had just started dating the beginning of that summer. He was gone for almost three weeks. I remember it seeming like eternity...*sigh* those were the days. I like reminiscing about old times...it was fun looking through these pictures and remembering what it was like falling in love with Hugh. I also remember him coming home looking like a grizzly bear with his long curly hair and ever so scruffy blonde beard. If only I could give him the long hair and the beard back...that would be the perfect birthday gift. Too bad he will be a BYU student again this fall, that scruff won't be around for awhile...nevertheless, I hope Hugh had a good birthday.
