Ruby's had a great time at her cousin Astrid's birthday party. Ruby and Astrid were born 5 days apart, one year apart. True to her Mexican heritage, Astrid had a pinata at her party...it was a hit!

This is Ruby's cousin Smee (short for Sarah Marilee)...whom she fondly calls "Mees". While Ruby's napping I'm looking through the hundreds of photos taken by Drew of Hughie. My gloom was brightened when this girly popped up. Isn't this just the best picture? Maybe some of her big personality will rub off on Roo?
