Happy Valentine's Day!

A few Sundays back, we spent the afternoon making Valentines to send to Auntie Sarah. I love doing crafts with Ruby. She really enjoys it and often says, "Meg, this is so fun." Truly a girl after my own heart :). Even Hank got in on the fun...I love the face he's making while pulling out the colored pencils. Making the Valentines was Hugh's idea...his contribution was snapping these photos. I love how you can see Ruby's concentration, and glad to have these to look back on and remember these simple, but perfect family moments.

This morning all four of us snuggled up in our bed for a brief moment. Hugh grabbed my hand and told me Happy Valentines Day. This is our way of celebrating this holiday of love...with the addition of some pink, heart shaped pancakes.  Simple...but perfect.



And breakfast wouldn't be complete without some Valentines tunes...and dancing to this song. So glad Hugh, Ruby, Hughie, and Hank are mine...and I'm theirs. (We have a lot of "H" names around here :).

I found this picture the other day in a drawer. Hugh and I were still dating and I made him this awesome cake. Hugh is a babe...and looks so young in this pic. Happy Valentines Day!
