MCCALL'S A HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE!
pinch me...it can't be true.
I remember the day she was born.

My baby sister graduated from High School on Tuesday and to celebrate...Ruby and I finally bought some High School Musical tunes and danced our hearts out in honor of McCall. It was just the two of us jamming (and my out of shape pregnant self really felt my heart pumping) and it was awesome.

But, in all seriousness, I am proud of McCall for all her hard work and very excited for her adventures at BYU this coming fall! Her creativity never ceases to amaze me, and her example of kindness and giving others the benefit of the doubt always makes me want to be better. It seems like yesterday she was born and my dad came to pick Mal and I up from school to go meet our newest sister. McCall is the perfect caboose for our family. We sure love her.

And as I'm writing this, I realize I never mentioned how awesome my sister Mal is for completing her Master's Degree this year in Marriage Family Therapy from BYU. Talk about hard work and dedication! I remember when she came to BYU as a freshman and all the lunches we shared in the Wilkinson Center...me, her, and her ginormous backpack. Not to mention the good times spent working together at Nordstrom in University Mall; Mal in Men's Sportwear and me in The Rail. If you ever get a chance, ask Mal about the piece of work trying to return worn-out Lucky Jeans. Let's just say, I had her back :). Mal, you've come a long way from your days of stressing about what to study. I have no doubt you chose the perfect fit. How did I get so lucky to have two wonderful and talented sisters and best friends? I do hope Ruby is lucky enough to have a sister someday...I am sure proud of the two I've been blessed with.

**And Mal...during our dance session, I thought of you and realized we still need to learn the dance from the above HSM clip...it's our summer, baby :)

Happy Birthday, McCall!
{and for all the family birthday posts I missed..sorry, I just happen to be on the ball today}

{this pic describes Ruby and McCall perfectly...always teasing each other}

I'm so grateful for McCall and the wonderful addition she is to our family. Our little sisterhood would not be the same without her. I remember my dad picking Mal and I up for school the day McCall was born. We were so excited to find out if she was a girl or boy. As most people know, at first we were a bit bummed she was a girl (we were hoping for a baby brother), but it just took us seeing and holding her and then we were in love. Mal and I were so excited to have someone to love and mother. McCall really has become the glue in our family...always the peacemaker. The funny thing is, when I think of one of my sisters...I can't help but think about the other. I really am so grateful for both of them. I have never wanted to replace either one with a brother. It's perfect just, us three girls.

Happy Birthday, Call. You really are my wing-man...not sure if I would survive without. Can't believe you are 18!!

Face lift.

Thanks, Call for the new look to my blog. You really are one smart, talented, and beautiful girl. You must have gotten all of mom's creativity genes...which isn't fair because she has a lot. Nevertheless, I am glad you are putting them to good use to serve your older sis.
